Red Dragon Martial Arts
The Red Dragon School of Martial Arts is a traditional Hung
Gar Kung Fu and Tai Chi school located in McKinley Mall. In addition to Hung
Gar, they offer the Yang style of Tai Chi as well as a wide variety of gifts,
weapons, clothing and equipment. With over 30 years of training and teaching
experience, they offer a well-rounded and exciting approach to ancient martial
arts.
After the departure of James G. Fox, PhD, from the area, the Red Dragon School
of Martial Arts became the only official regional certified Yang ChengFu Tai

Taoist Tai Chi Society of WNY
Founded locally by Eva Wong, translator of Cultivating
Stillness, Taoist Tai Chi was a recreated style developed from the experiences
of Grandmaster Moi before fleeing China during the Cultural Revolution.
It stresses postures and movements as a means of physical therapy, and breath work,
strangely, is not taught until students have been learning for about two years.
The International Taoist Tai Chi Society website can be found here.
